Just got the EOS R6 Mark II last week. I planning a trip to Europe, which lens do you recommend for EOS R6 Mark II for travel?

Congrats on the R6 II! For a versatile travel lens, the RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM is a popular choice. It covers a useful focal range for landscapes and everyday shots. Within your budget, you could also consider primes like the RF 35mm f/1.8 or 50mm f/1.8 for better low-light performance, but they won't offer the same zoom flexibility. Check out the recent discussions on r/canon for more options. Enjoy your trip!

For the Canon EOS R6 Mark II, I’d recommend the RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM. It’s versatile, covering wide-angle to short telephoto, perfect for landscapes, portraits, and street photography. The constant f/4 aperture ensures consistent performance, and the image stabilization is great for handheld shots. If you need something wider, the RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM is excellent for landscapes and architecture. Both lenses are sharp, durable, and pair well with the R6 Mark II’s capabilities. Happy shooting!
