ive been staring at lens specs for three days now and my head is spinning trying to pick something for my trip to Zion next month. i finally upgraded to the R7 but my kit lens just isnt cutting it for those big canyon views. i saw people talking about the rf-s 10-18mm but it feels kinda cheap and the slow aperture seems bad for sunrise shots. then there is the 15-35mm L glass but thats way over my $800 budget and i dont even know if 15mm is wide enough with the 1.6x crop factor anyway. im just stuck and getting really annoyed with the lack of native wide angle options. what landscape lens should i actually buy?

Honestly, the new Sigma is a total game changer for the R7! I love it for canyon shots because its tiny but sharp as a tack.

I was worried about cash and got the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R for used glass. Just be careful with the weight tho, it can make the R7 feel kinda unbalanced.
