What external flash should I actually get for my Canon EOS 90D because I'm so confused? I just got this camera for my birthday and I'm super excited to start taking better photos of my sister's wedding next month in Vermont but the little pop up flash looks kinda bad and harsh and makes everyone look like ghosts. I've never used a real flash before and looking online just makes my head spin with all the numbers and weird words like TTL and sync speed which I dont understand at all.

I have about $200 maybe $250 max to spend because I already spent a lot on the camera and a bag so I cant go too crazy. I want something that is easy to use where I can just slide it on and it works without me having to change a million settings every time I want to take a picture.

I saw some Godox ones and then the official Canon ones but the Canon ones are so expensive and I'm not sure if the cheap ones will break my camera or something or if they even fit? I'm just a total beginner so sorry if this is a really basic thing to ask but I really want the wedding photos to look professional and not all washed out. Is there like a go-to model everyone uses for this camera? I'm honestly lost...
