What is the best free tool to share my entire Amazon cart with someone else through a single link? I am currently trying to help my younger sister get her dorm stuff sorted for her move to Chicago next week and we are on a tight timeline to get things ordered by Friday so they arrive before her move-in date. I have about 20 items in my cart right now totaling around $450 and I need a way to just send her one link so she can check out with my parents credit card on her own account.

I am torn between using the Share-A-Cart extension and just using the native Amazon Shopping List feature. I am leaning toward Share-A-Cart because it seems like it adds everything to the other person's cart automatically but I am a little worried about the privacy side of things or if it starts charging you once you have too many items. The Amazon list feature is okay but then she has to click every single item to add it to her cart manually and that is honestly just a lot of work and I know she will forget something lol. I also found a site called Cart URL but it looks like it hasnt been updated since 2010 so I am kind of skeptical about that one. Does anyone have experience with these or know a better free way to do this without a lot of hassle?

Had a moment to think about this... I used Share-A-Cart when my brother moved out last year. It basically bundles product IDs into a temporary link using a browser script.

  • It is much faster than clicking 20 items in a list.
  • No hidden fees for standard usage. Are you looking for a one-time link, or do you need her to be able to sync back and forth with you?

Jumping in here because I have done this exact thing a dozen times for my own family. Honestly, the native Amazon List tool is such a chore for 20 items. Your sister is definitely gonna miss something if she has to click every single add to cart button. Here is how I see the options:

  • Amazon Lists: Most secure but super slow. Too many clicks for a big dorm haul.
  • Share-A-Cart: Fast, but honestly, some people dont like having an extension reading their browser data.
  • Cart To Link: This is what I personally use now. It is a web-based tool that is totally free and doesn't require any installs. I would go with Cart To Link since it is way more modern than that 2010 site you found. Just double check that everything is actually Prime eligible or shipped from Amazon so the link doesn't break for her account. It is just more reliable for bulk stuff.
