Honestly I am just so done with Amazon's native invite to view and shared list features. They are literally the worst. My family is trying to coordinate this huge multi-family reunion thing in July and we decided to use a shared wishlist so people could claim items like bulk snacks and beach gear, but it is a total disaster.

My logic was that everyone has an Amazon account so it would be easy, right? Wrong. Half the time someone buys something and it doesnt even mark it as purchased, so we end up with three of the same giant pack of Gatorade. It is so annoying because then I have to go in and manually fix everything and people are getting confused. I looked at Elfster but that feels more like a Secret Santa thing and we just need a running list of stuff for the house rental in North Carolina.

Is there any third-party app or website that actually syncs well with Amazon but doesnt suck? I am getting really stressed because the trip is only three weeks away and I am the one stuck managing a stupid spreadsheet now because the list failed us. I just want something where people can see the link, click it, and it actually records that the item is gone without me having to check every five minutes. Does anyone have a better way to do this or am I just stuck with this mess...
