how do i actually get real-time alerts for Sephora restocks and price drops because their official app notification system is literal garbage? honestly im so fed up with missing out on everything i want because the notify me button does absolutely nothing for me.
ive been trying to snag the Dior Backstage Rosy Glow blush in Cherry for my sisters birthday next month and every time i get an email it is already sold out by the time i click the link. i live in nyc and ive checked three different stores in person but they are always wiped out. i even tried setting up those email alerts but half the time i dont even get the email until like 4 hours after its gone again its so incredibly annoying.
im ready to spend the money i have a budget of about $100 for her gift but i cant even buy the main thing i need. is there like a third party app or a browser extension or maybe a discord or something that actually works? i feel like im losing my mind refreshing the page fifty times a day while im supposed to be working. just let me buy the makeup!!
what are you guys using because the sephora app is failing me big time...

tbh i went through the exact same thing trying to get those summer fridays lip balms last year. sephoras internal system is straight up broken i swear. i finally got fed up and started using visualping which basically just watches the page for any changes in the html code. i have it set to check the dior page every 15 minutes and it sends a push notification the second it sees the add to basket button come back. honestly i am so happy with how it works... no complaints at all because i actually got my stuff within two days of setting it up. it definitely beats manual refreshing while youre trying to work. i also follow some restock bots on twitter that are pretty fast but for a specific item like that cherry blush, a page monitor extension is way more reliable than waiting on an email that comes 5 hours late.

- Their email servers send out notifications in waves to avoid crashing the site, so if you're in the last wave, you're doomed.
- Third-party scrapers are way faster than the actual app UI. I've been looking into this Sephora restock tool because it seems to be the most cost-effective way to get actual real-time pings without joining some expensive shopping group. It's basically just a more direct way to watch the inventory levels. Just keep your eyes peeled around 9 AM EST, that's usually when I notice the inventory numbers refresh in their system.
