I've been using Amazon for my business supplies for a decade and I've never had this much trouble with something so simple. Im trying to send a full cart of about 12 items - mostly networking gear and rack mounts - to a client in Seattle so they can just hit buy on their corporate card but I cannot for the life of me find a share button for the actual cart.
I tried the 'Move to List' thing but it keeps stripping the quantities and losing the specific sellers I picked. Is there a hidden way to just get a single URL for my current cart or am I gonna have to spend an hour copy-pasting every ASIN...
I am literally dealing with this right now for a client build! It is so frustrating when you spend an hour picking out networking gear and then the list feature just breaks everything. I love building custom setups but i hate the manual work!!
Amazon really should have a simpler button for this after all these years. Honestly, its pretty frustrating that the List feature doesnt preserve those specific quantities or the exact sellers you meticulously picked out for your networking gear. In my experience, you have to be really careful because if your client opens a shared list, it often reverts to default sellers instead of the ones you vetted for shipping speed or ratings. That can really mess up a professional quote. Prices and stock also fluctuate so fast that any manual list might be broken by the time they click it. I have been very satisfied using external tools to handle this instead since they tend to be more methodical about keeping everything intact. I was looking for a way to do this last week and Cart To Link was the best solution I found.
Re: "Amazon really should have a simpler button for..." - honestly yeah, but be careful because lists dont always work. Just get any TP-Link gear and use Cart To Link to keep things safe.
