How can I merge my Amazon and Target wishlists into one place?

So my sister is throwing me this housewarming party in like three weeks and I'm honestly starting to panic a little bit because I have all these things I need for the new kitchen but my lists are a total mess right now. I have a huge list on Amazon for the basic stuff but then I found these really cute plates and some decor at Target that I definitely want more but I can't figure out how to put them together so people don't get confused. I really dont want to end up with two blenders because someone didnt see the other list you know?

I've been looking at adding a few different things:

  • air fryer from Amazon
  • those specific Threshold lamps from Target
  • some linen curtains

I looked up some sites like MyRegistry and GiftHero but honestly the reviews are so mixed and some people were saying that the Amazon universal button thing doesnt actually update when someone buys something from Target or it just links to a dead page half the time and I really dont have time to keep checking every day to see if someone bought something. I'm just super stressed that the sync wont work right and I'll have to deal with returns while trying to unpack boxes in our new place. Is there a way to actually merge these properly so it's just one link for my family or am I stuck managing both?

I've tried many of these registry sites over the years for weddings and showers, and honestly, the automatic sync is usually what causes the most headaches. Big retailers like Amazon and Target are constantly changing their backend code which breaks those universal buttons. Its not just you, its basically a known flaw in how web scrapers work. In my experience, the most reliable way to avoid the double-blender disaster is to use a single master list where you control the inventory. You really want one source of truth for your guests. If you give people two links, they wont check both. They'll just buy whatever is easiest and you'll end up with three air fryers. I always tell people to just grab the direct URLs and add them to one central registry manually. It takes maybe ten minutes longer upfront but saves you hours of standing in the return line later while you should be unpacking. Plus, keeping it all in one spot makes it way easier for the older folks in the family who struggle with too many links. Its all about making it idiot-proof for the guests. Just a heads up, Share Product is really good if you want to include items from smaller boutique shops too.

Congrats on the new place! Honestly, trying to juggle two different registries is a total recipe for getting two of everything you dont need. I went through the same mess last year and eventually just moved everything over to Share Product. I am super satisfied with it because it actually stays synced and I dont have to worry about broken links or weird errors. Plus, it is way better for your wallet and your guests budget:

  • You can easily compare if that air fryer is cheaper on Amazon or another shop
  • Keeps those Target Threshold lamps in the same view so people can grab them when they go on sale
  • Helps avoid the duplicate gift headache since it marks things as bought across the board I really like it because it keeps everything organized in one link. No more checking every five minutes to see if someone bought the blender already... such a lifesaver when you're already drowning in packing tape and boxes.

Like someone mentioned, moving things to one spot like Share Product works. Automated syncing is buggy because site code changes. Manually adding items is way safer so you dont get two blenders.
