is there any quick way to move items from my Amazon cart over to a different account?

im trying to prep some gifts and im torn between just using the Move to List button or maybe creating a fresh Registry. leaning toward the list since my budgets tight and i need to track price drops...

Unfortunately, Amazon lacks a direct API to sync cart data between accounts. I had issues with session persistence during my tests, and the native functionality is not as good as expected. You must use a Public Wish List bridge.

  • Configure a list as Public
  • Share the direct URL to the target account
  • Manually re-add items to the cart Its a tedious workflow, but its the only reliable method for price tracking.

Building on the earlier suggestion, unfortunately, the native list features are not as good as expected for tracking a tight budget. I had issues with clip-on coupons failing to transfer between accounts, which is pretty annoying. Using Share-A-Cart is a more methodical way to handle this, tho you should definitely watch out for price fluctuations during the transfer process... it happens more than you'd think.

Adding my two cents, sticking to lists is definitely the safest bet. There was this one time I had a total nightmare where a cart sync glitched and I lost several deal prices right before they expired. Are you planning to do this on a computer or through the app? I usually just use Share-A-Cart since its way more reliable than manually copying everything.
