Recommendations for budget-friendly RF mount spare batteries and chargers?

I recently picked up a Canon R6 and I’m absolutely loving the switch to the RF system, but man, these batteries drain fast during long shoots! Canon’s official LP-E6NH spares are nearly $80 a pop, which is a bit steep for my current budget. I’m looking for reliable third-party alternatives that won’t trigger those annoying 'non-genuine' warnings or limit the high-speed burst mode. I've seen brands like Wasabi and Neewer, but I’m nervous about overheating or poor longevity. Also, a dual-slot USB-C charger would be a lifesaver for travel. Does anyone have a specific budget-friendly brand they trust for their RF bodies? What’s your go-to setup for affordable but safe spare power?

In my experience, picking the right third-party battery for the R6 is all about that "H+" high-speed burst mode. Basically, the R6 needs a high voltage discharge to hit those 12fps/20fps speeds, and older LP-E6 clones just can't keep up. If the battery doesn't communicate properly with the camera's chip, you'll get the "non-genuine" warning and lose your top performance. For your situation, I honestly recommend the BM Premium 2-Pack LP-E6NH High Capacity Batteries 2250mAh and Dual USB-C Charger. You can usually find the whole kit for under $40, which is a total lifesaver. Ngl, they've been super reliable for me and the camera recognizes them as NH models, so no warnings! Plus, the dual USB-C charger is tiny for travel. Another great pick is the SmallRig LP-E6NH USB-C Rechargeable Camera Battery 2400mAh because it has a charging port built right into the battery itself. Seriously, it's sooo convenient. gl!

I would suggest:
SmallRig LP-E6NH USB-C Rechargeable Camera Battery: built-in charging is clutch.
BM Premium LP-E6NH Replacement Battery: cheaper, tho lower capacity.
Both support R6 H+ speeds... gl!

TL;DR: Stick with Wasabi Power gear but let me know if you shoot mostly video or photos first! I totally love the R6. Best camera ever. But man, the battery life is a real struggle! I remember this one time at a mountain shoot where my battery just died in the freezing cold and I almost lost the best sunset shot. It was so stressful! I used to be totally terrified of third party stuff because I had an old battery from some random brand swell up inside the tray once... scared the life out of me. I dont want to risk my gear like that again, so I'm kinda super cautious now. Quick question tho... are you shooting mostly 4K video or just high-speed bursts for sports? The power requirements and heat issues change a lot depending on what you're doing. Honestly though, you can't go wrong with Wasabi Power. Just get any of their newer packs and a dual charger. They've been amazing for me tho and honestly they feel just as safe as the official ones!
