Looking for a high quality tripod for Canon EOS R1

Just invested in the Canon EOS R1 and need a reliable tripod to match this beast of a camera. Looking for something sturdy enough to support the weight but still portable for hiking/travel. Budget is around $300-500.

My priorities are stability, weight capacity (camera + 70-200mm f/2.8), and ease of use. Carbon fiber would be nice for weight savings.

Any recommendations from fellow R1 owners? What tripods have worked well for you?

Honestly, if youre looking at that $300-$500 price bracket, you should really look at Benro. You can basically get a high-modulus carbon fiber setup that rivals the top-tier brands without paying the "luxury tax." Since the R1 is a flagship body with a decent bit of mass, you want to make sure the leg diameter of the top section is thick enough to provide the torsional rigidity required for sharp shots with that 70-200mm. I ALWAYS recommend getting something with a significantly higher load capacity than your actual gear weight—its more about vibration damping than just keeping the camera off the ground. Just get any carbon fiber travel series from Benro and youll be set for hiking. They use great materials and the build quality is solid enough to handle professional use in the field. (at least thats what has worked for my heavy setups without breaking the bank) tbf, going with a brand like that lets you put more money toward a high-end ball head, which is just as important as the legs.
