What battery grip should I get for my 5D Mark IV? sorry if this is a dumb question but I have no idea where to start or if the cheap ones are okay.
I have a wedding in two weeks and my budget is super tight.
- canon brand
- neewer/offbrand
I just dont want to break anything...

Quick question, what's your max budget? I'm super satisfied with my Vello BG-C14 Battery Grip for Canon 5D Mark IV.
- solid fit
- affordable It works well for me!

Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that off-brand grips can be risky. I once used a Neewer Battery Grip for Canon 5D Mark IV and it just cut out during a ceremony. Not as good as expected and felt really plastic-y...
- cheap buttons often get stuck
- no real weather sealing
- look for a used Canon BG-E20 Battery Grip or maybe the Vello BG-C14 Battery Grip for Canon 5D Mark IV instead.
