I just got a Canon 90D and its great but the battery seems to go fast when I use the screen. I saw these battery grip things online and my logic was that it would help me hold the camera better for my cousins wedding next month since my hands are kinda shaky.

The problem is I dont know which one to get. The official Canon one is so expensive and my budget is only around 60 dollars right now. I saw some cheap ones on Amazon like Neewer or Vello but I'm scared they might mess up the camera since I dont know what I'm doing. Is there a specific brand that works best without breaking the bank?

I have been shooting for years and suggest sticking to known names if you can. Since youre on a budget, be careful with the ultra-cheap ones. I would suggest:

Unfortunately, cheap grips often glitch. My Vivitar VIV-PG-70D Battery Grip had bad circuit drain issues. The GODOX Battery Grip BG-E14 has more reliable chips, tho the build is honestly disappointing.

^ This. Also, I have this exact same issue right now. Been searching for months and still havent found a solid answer. Its honestly so frustrating because those official prices are just insane.
