Recommended wireless remote shutters for Canon EOS 6D Mark II?

What's the best wireless remote shutter for the 6D Mark II that wont drop the connection every five seconds? I've been shooting on Canon bodies since the T3i days so I usually know my way around the menu system but I am hitting a wall here. I have a massive real estate shoot booked for this Tuesday night here in Chicago and I need to do some long exposures while standing away from the tripod to avoid shaking the floorboards on this old balcony.

I tried using that Canon Camera Connect app on my iPhone and honestly it is the most frustrating piece of software I have ever used. It keeps disconnecting right when I am about to hit the shutter and the lag is just unusable for what I need. I need a dedicated physical remote.

I was looking at the Canon BR-E1 but I have heard mixed things about the bluetooth pairing being a nightmare on the 6DmkII specifically. Is there a better third party option like something from JJC or maybe a Neewer kit that is more reliable? My budget is around 60 bucks and I really need to grab something by tomorrow or Monday latest. Should I just get a wired one and deal with the short cable or is there a wireless setup that actually works for more than ten minutes...

Unfortunately, the Canon BR-E1 Wireless Remote Control is not as good as expected. I had issues with pairing, so just save cash and get the JJC JM-A Wireless Shutter Release instead.

I learned the hard way with Bluetooth during a high-stakes shoot once. The connection died right when the light was perfect... total nightmare. For a real estate gig, you should use a 2.4GHz radio system instead.
