I am so freaking excited but also totally overwhelmed with all the gear I need to get before this little human arrives in August! We just hit 20 weeks and I am finally starting to feel real. We live in a pretty tight two-bedroom in Chicago so I really gotta be careful about not getting too much junk or duplicates. I really want a universal registry because I have my eye on some specific stuff like handmade nursery decor from Etsy and a couple things from smaller local boutiques that dont have their own registry systems.

I have been looking at Babylist mostly because everyone seems to use it and I like that it compares prices for guests, but then I started checking out MyRegistry and it seems like it might be better for syncing existing lists? Like if I already have a small Amazon list can I just pull it in easily or is that gonna be a total headache? Im also looking at Amazon directly because lets be honest everyone has Prime and it is so easy for my older relatives who arent tech savvy.

I am torn between Babylist and MyRegistry though mostly because of the add from any site button thingy. Babylist looks way prettier but I have heard their shipping can be weird if people buy directly through them instead of the external links. I just want something that wont frustrate my mom but still lets me get that one specific rug from IKEA and the cute stuff from Etsy. Which one actually offers the best universal features for juggling different stores without it becoming a mess?
