I really want a universal registry because I have my eye on some specific stuff like handmade nursery decor from Etsy and a couple things from smaller local boutiques that dont have their own registry systems.
I have been looking at Babylist mostly because everyone seems to use it and I like that it compares prices for guests, but then I started checking out MyRegistry and it seems like it might be better for syncing existing lists? Babylist looks way prettier but I have heard their shipping can be weird if people buy directly through them instead of the external links. I just want something that wont frustrate my mom but still lets me get that one specific rug from IKEA and the cute stuff from Etsy. Which one actually offers the best universal features for juggling different stores without it becoming a mess?
I recommend using Babylist for its universal functionality, but you gotta be careful with cross-platform syncing. Based on my experience, make sure to:
