My budget is actually pretty tight right now like I have maybe $450 set aside for that massive Rivendell set but its so expensive and I really dont want to pay full price if I can help it. I am looking to buy it by next month for my anniversary gift to myself lol. I've been looking around online and everyone says to use CamelCamelCamel but that only really tracks Amazon prices and honestly Amazon's shipping for big LEGO sets is a nightmare sometimes they just slap a label on the actual box and it gets all banged up which drives me crazy as a collector. I also checked out BrickPicker because people on Reddit mentioned it but the interface is so clunky and I cant tell if the data is even current or if its just focusing on the secondary market investment side of things which I dont care about I just want to build the thing! Then there is Brickwatch but I think thats mostly for Europe? Im in the US so I dont know if that helps me at all.
I tried setting up alerts on Honey too but it misses the random flash sales on sites like Target or Walmart and those are usually where the best 20% off deals happen. I'm just getting really stressed out because the prices keep fluctuating and I feel like I'm gonna miss the window and end up paying $500 plus tax. I even looked at Brickset but their buy tab seems to just link to eBay half the time which is not what I want. I want brand new in box from a real store. I've been trying to keep track of these sites:
But none of them feel right or they only cover one specific store. Is there something that actually tracks across all the major retailers like Best Buy and Barnes and Noble too? Like a one stop shop where I wont get spammed but I'll actually get a notification the second it drops? I just need something reliable because I cant keep refreshing ten different tabs every hour while I'm at work. I feel like the more I look the more confused I get with all these different trackers that dont actually track the stores I shop at. What do you guys actually use to catch those 20 or 30 percent off sales before they sell out? I really dont want to miss this...
I think you might want to consider:
You definitely need a comprehensive LEGO price tracker to manage these notifications effectively. I have found it is absolutely amazing for monitoring price drops across various stores simultaneously! It is a fantastic method for ensuring you never miss a sale at Target or Walmart. Simply choose a reliable tracking platform and configure your alerts; it works perfectly for securing those deep discounts!
Just saw this but wanted to chime in! I totally get being nervous about shipping. Honestly disagree with using those high-tech API trackers because they seem way too complicated. Someone told me BrickEconomy is fantastic for US sales and the layout is amazing! I think it covers more than just Amazon too.
