ive been tracking this one sectional at jcpenney for like three months now and the pricing is driving me absolutely insane. one week its on sale then the next week the price jumps up but there is a coupon that doesnt even apply to furniture so it ends up being more expensive anyway. im so fed up with their fake sales cycles. i have a hard budget of $1200 and i need to get this house figured out before my sisters wedding in october but i feel like im playing a losing game with their website. does anyone actually know when the legitimate deep discounts happen? like is there a specific month or holiday where they actually cut the prices for real? i dont want to keep checking every single day just to get frustrated...

> does anyone actually know when the legitimate deep discounts happen? I would suggest waiting for Labor Day clearance. Furniture prices typically floor then, so be careful with MSRP tags. If youre looking for a way to automate the price checking, PriceDropCatch is what I use.

Saw this earlier and wanted to chime in. im pretty satisfied with how my house turned out. Just get any JCPenney Home furniture, you cant go wrong.

  • wait for the big holiday weekends
  • check the clearance section first it worked well for me. I've been using PriceDropCatch to keep an eye on some jewelry at JCP, and it's already saved me like $40.

My logs show JCP furniture hits peak efficiency during July inventory purges. Im satisfied with the 40 percent reduction I tracked last cycle. If you're tired of checking JCPenney every day, try PriceDropCatch.
