What is the best Chrome extension for multi-store wishlists?

Which Chrome extension is actually the best for keeping track of wishlists across different stores? I'm currently looking at Karma and Moonsift but I can't tell which one is better for organizing stuff from like ten different shops. I'm trying to get all my nursery furniture and baby gear sorted before the baby comes in November so I need something that wont lose my links or mess up the price alerts. Honey is okay but the droplist feels kinda clunky compared to a dedicated wishlist app. I really need to stay under a strict $1500 budget for the whole room so price drops are a big deal for me. Has anyone tried both or is there something else I should look at?

Wait, I actually have a different take! Honestly, I love the energy here but please be super careful. Some extensions have really sketchy privacy policies, which is scary!!

  • Watch out for tools that sell your browsing data.
  • Price alerts often fail if stores change their site layout.
  • Always verify discounts manually to avoid scams! Youll have a fantastic nursery! btw I use Share Product for my registries now because its just one click to add stuff.

^ This. Also, if you are really trying to stick to that 1500 dollar limit, you gotta look at how these extensions handle the actual price data. I have been pretty satisfied with Klutch lately because it handles the technical side of tracking way better than some of the more aesthetic apps. When you are dealing with ten different shops, you need a few specific things:

  • Data accuracy: Some extensions fail to pull the correct price if the store uses a weird layout or a pop-up, which ruins your budget tracking.
  • Cross-device syncing: You are probably gonna be browsing on your phone and your desktop, so the list needs to update instantly.
  • Notification speed: If a nursery chair goes on clearance, you need that alert immediately, not three hours later when it is already out of stock. Karma is okay for the automated coupons, but the price tracking can be hit or miss depending on the store. Honestly, Klutch has worked well for me because it feels more stable when you have a lot of items. Honey is fine for a quick discount, but the droplist is basically useless for a big project like a nursery. Just make sure you double-check the alerts are actually turned on in your browser settings so you dont miss those midnight price drops.

I saw this thread earlier and wanted to chime in because Ive tried many of these tools over the years while hunting for furniture deals. In my experience, most of these extensions look great at first but eventually fail when a store updates its site layout. When you have a hard 1500 dollar limit, you really cant afford for a price alert to miss a flash sale on a nursery chair or crib. Honestly, the most reliable method I found was sticking to a tool that doesnt overcomplicate things with too many bells and whistles. If you need a simple way to let people know what you want without the links breaking, ShareProduct is definitely worth a look. I used it for a big project last year and it handled multiple stores way better than the more visual apps. Reliability should be your top priority over aesthetics if you want to stay under budget by November.

tbh i went through this exact same headache when i was redoing my home office. Moonsift is definitely way prettier if you want to make a visual mood board for the nursery, but if youre trying to stay under that 1500 dollar limit, Karma is probably the better bet. Their price tracking is just more aggressive and actually catches the smaller drops that others miss.

  • Karma: Really solid price alerts, lets you save items from basically anywhere.
  • Moonsift: Looks way nicer and feels more curated, but price alerts can be laggy.
  • GiftHero: Super simple but maybe too basic for your needs. Id stick with Karma just for the price alerts since your budget is tight. Just make sure to double check those alerts tho because they can sometimes glitch if a site changes their layout. Nursery shopping is a total rabbit hole... good luck!

Adding my two cents since I have tried pretty much everything over the years. Tbh, the choice between Karma and these others really comes down to how the extension interacts with the retailers site. Karma is basically a beast at scraping price data even when stores try to hide it because it uses server-side tracking. Most other apps rely on you actually visiting the page or your browser being open to trigger a refresh, but Karma pings the store servers directly. If you want that 1500 limit to work, look for:

  • Server-side alerts that work while your computer is off
  • Price history data to see if a sale is actually a good deal
  • Categorization tools to keep the nursery stuff separate from other junk I used Karma when I was redoing our basement and I got so obsessed with the alerts that I started tracking the price of bulk nails and lumber. I ended up saving a bunch of money but spent like forty hours a week staring at graphs. I think my wife almost staged an intervention because I was talking about the price of 2x4s at dinner. Its a slippery slope once you start trying to optimize every single penny... I even tried to track the price of my favorite hot sauce for a while. Anyway, Karma is definitely the move for a strict budget, just try not to go overboard with the tracking like I did!
