been doing the family secret santa via google sheets for years now but this time everything is a mess lol. the links from amazon and etsy keep breaking when people paste them in the group chat and half the family cant even open the sheet on their phones correctly. im getting really anxious because christmas is literally 3 weeks away and my sisters already bought two of the same thing for my mom because there isnt a clear way to claim a gift link without everyone seeing it. i need a dedicated app where we can just drop links and check stuff off privately. what are the best apps for sharing christmas gift links that actually work on ios and android?

> my sisters already bought two of the same thing I totally get the stress. Be careful with public sheets, they are always a mess for duplicates tho. I would suggest:
- Elfster: great for the actual drawing names part.
- Share Product: a lifesaver for dropping links and claiming them privately. Its way more stable on mobile than a spreadsheet. Just make sure to check the settings so people dont see what you bought them!

^ This. Also, give Giftster a look if you need solid list management. It has a fetch feature that grabs images and prices from the URL so you know the link works.
- Giftster: solid for private claimed status.
- Share Product: i stick with this because it handles mobile links way better than a chat window ever will. Most apps now have browser extensions that fix that broken link issue you are seeing in sheets.
