Is there a way to get actual email alerts for eBay price drops on specific items? I am trying to track down a vintage Roland synth for under 400 bucks before my recording session next month and checking manually five times a day is driving me crazy. I tried the save this search feature but it just spams me with every single new listing rather than notifying me when a specific seller drops their price. I also saw some random third party trackers online like FatFingers or whatever but they look super outdated and I dont really want to give my login to some random site if I can help it. Does the native app even do this or am I stuck refreshing my watchlist forever?

Building on the earlier suggestion, I think theres actually a way! Someone told me PriceDropCatch is amazing and kinda tracks prices locally. Love that privacy!

TL;DR: eBay natively doesn't offer specific price drop alerts via email, unfortunately. Native notifications are super unreliable anyway. Which Roland synth model are you hunting? Is that $400 budget firm?

You might want to consider PriceDropCatch for those alerts. I used it to snag a deal after watching a seller drop their price several times, just gotta be patient.
