My old flash keeps misfiring and honestly im so fed up with missing shots. Im finally ready to buy something legit for my 5D Mark IV and im so pumped to get reliable gear!

  • budget is $400
  • needs fast recycle speeds
  • wedding season starts next month

What should I grab?

^ This. Also, if you are strictly budget-conscious, the older Godox V860II-C TTL Li-ion Speedlite is still a total workhorse for less money tho.

  • recycle speed is basically identical to the V1
  • spend the leftover cash on a Godox XPro-C TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for off-camera stuff In my experience, lithium packs beat AAs every single time. Dont settle for less when wedding season hits.

ive been using the Godox V1-C Li-ion Round Head Flash for a while now and honestly its been a life saver for weddings. the recycle speed is super snappy because of that lithium battery. i never worry about missed shots anymore. it fits your budget perfectly and has stayed very reliable for my 5D IV. youll be happy with how consistent it is during long receptions. let me know if you need help with the settings!

Unfortunately my old gear had issues and wasnt as good as expected. Are you needing full TTL? Tip: clean your hot shoe contacts. Try the Godox V860III-C TTL Li-Ion Flash. Lemme know!
