How do I actually send my whole Amazon shopping cart to my wife from the mobile app without having to screenshot every single item? I've been a Prime member for like ten years and I usually just use the Share button on individual product pages but I'm trying to plan our whole camping trip for next weekend and I have about 15 items in the cart right now.
I tried looking for a share link in the checkout screen but it's just not there and it's driving me crazy. I'm on an iPhone 14 and the UI seems to have changed or maybe I'm just blind. We have a $400 budget for this gear and I need her to double check the sizes before I hit buy. Is there a hidden button or some workaround because I really dont want to copy-paste 15 separate links...
I have been using Amazon for many years and honestly, I am quite certain they still do not have a native share button for the entire cart in the mobile app. It is likely a security measure on their end. IIRC, the standard procedure is to move items into a shared list, but that is a major hassle for 15 different items when you are trying to prep for a trip. In my experience, there are safer ways to handle this without handing over your password:
Honestly, Amazon still hasnt made this easy and it is super annoying when you are trying to stay on a strict budget. I went through this exact same thing last year when I was trying to outfit my kids for a trip and I thought for sure I was just missing a button somewhere. Unfortunately, the app experience for this is just not as good as you would expect for a company that big. I ended up just moving everything to a wishlist and inviting my partner as a collaborator. It is not a perfect solution but it saved me from the screenshot nightmare. Plus, with a $400 limit, it actually helped us track the total better because we could see price drops in real time. Tbh, lists are the only way to go even if they feel a bit clunky compared to a direct cart share. Let me know if you need help finding that collab button tho, happy to walk you through it.
> How do I actually send my whole Amazon shopping cart to my wife from the mobile app without having to screenshot every single item? Stumbled on this thread while looking for something else but yeah, I went through this exact same headache last summer. I was trying to buy gear for my first solo trek and had like 20 things piled up. I spent thirty minutes digging through settings thinking I was just being dumb. Turns out the app UI is just really restrictive about the cart itself... kinda annoying when youre on a budget and need a second opinion. In my experience the cleanest way to do it is to just move everything into a dedicated List. I called mine Summer Gear and then hit the invite button. It lets her see everything and even comment on stuff. Ive tried many different workarounds over the years but the list method is the most stable way to avoid the screenshot nightmare. Just make sure the list is set to shared or she wont be able to see the prices!
