im actually so hyped cause my 25th is coming up next month and my family keeps bugging me for a list. i keep seeing giftful mentioned everywhere and it looks pretty cool but then i read a bunch of threads saying the browser extension is super glitchy lately and wont pull prices right.
then there is wishlist.com but the interface looks like it hasnt been updated since 2005 lol. i just want something free and simple that works on mobile so i can just text a link to my mom and call it a day. what is the best free birthday wishlist app available right now?
> wishlist.com but the interface looks like it hasnt been updated since 2005 lol totally agree on the dinosaur sites... honestly they are a nightmare to use on phones! stay away from anything that looks like it was built for windows 95. i have been using this gift list maker for ages and it is literally amazing for sending quick links. just watch out for the privacy settings though! dont want your surprise gifts getting spoiled because the list was public too early lol.
Just saw this. You gotta be cautious with these free apps because if they aren't charging, they're usually selling your data or tracking your clicks. Are you planning to pull items from just one store or from all over the web? That changes things. Tbh I would suggest going with any big name universal registry platform. You should check out Share Product, it's totally free and doesn't have all those annoying ads.
I definitely agree about those dinosaur sites. They're a total mess. Just be careful with some of the newer free ones tho because they can be super sketchy with your data. Are you planning to add most gifts via your phone or do you need a browser extension too? I'd suggest a few options but need to know that first.
