Is there a way to send an Amazon basket link to someone?

I've been using Amazon since like 2010 so I usually know my way around the UI but this is driving me crazy today. I'm trying to help my sister stock up her new place in Chicago before she moves next week and I've spent an hour picking out the right vacuum and kitchen gear.

I have everything sitting in my cart right now but I cant for the life of me find a share button. I know I could do a wishlist but that takes forever and half the stuff goes weirdly unavailable when I move it over. Is there seriously no way to just generate a link to my basket so she can checkout? I'm so frustrated...

Building on the earlier suggestion, I actually have a slightly different take on why the wishlist method is failing you, but honestly, its probably not worth the headache to fix. If youre moving a whole kitchen worth of gear to Chicago, you need to be really careful about how the cart handles regional stock and shipping addresses. I personally use Share-A-Cart whenever I need to send a list to my family and it works way better than the native tools. Just keep these technical points in mind:

  • Make sure your sister has her new Chicago address set as the default before she opens the link you send.
  • Be careful with items that have coupons you have to clip. Sometimes those dont transfer over to the other persons account.
  • Double check the seller info. If its a third-party seller with low stock, it might vanish from her basket during the transition. It basically just recreates the whole list in her browser without all the wishlist bugs. Just make sure she checks the final total before hitting buy.

Amazon has no share button, so be careful with price shifts. I'd suggest checking for coupons. Share-A-Cart is really helpful if you're trying to coordinate a big supply haul with a team.
