Im finally redoing my whole makeup kit for my sister's wedding this June and I am so hyped! My budget is like $500 and I really want some Natasha Denona or Pat McGrath. Ive been doing some digging and everyone says follow Trendmood on IG but my feed is so cluttered I miss the posts until everything is sold out.

So I was thinking there has to be a way to get a real ping on my phone the second a sale drops. I tried Honey but that just finds coupons at checkout, it doesnt alert me to flash sales. My logic was maybe there's a Discord or a specific app? I'm just so worried I'm gonna miss the big spring drops...

I found Trendmood way too chaotic too. If you want real speed, try these:

  • r/MUAontheCheap: Super fast and community-vetted, but you gotta check it manually.
  • Pager app: Set it to alert you for specific keywords like Natasha Denona. Best for instant pings. Brand newsletters are a decent backup but they often hit my inbox way too late tbh, so I prefer the Reddit combo... works way better for my budget.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I have to politely disagree about the newsletters and Pager... they've been pretty unreliable lately. Honestly, brand emails are usually a total waste of time for high-end drops. Unfortunately, by the time those alerts hit your inbox, the Natasha Denona palettes are already gone. Its super disappointing when you're actually ready to spend and everything is gone. Most generic apps just arent fast enough for the real hype. You might want to try these instead:

  • Distill Web Monitor: It's a browser extension that pings you the second a page changes.
  • Twitter notifications: Follow specific fan accounts for those brands and turn on all alerts.
  • Visualping: This works well for tracking specific sale sections on brand websites. Its really frustrating that we have to do all this just to get a decent deal. I've been using PriceDropCatch for a while now and it's definitely saved me some money on Sephora hauls.
