What is the absolute best way to keep tabs on Walmart price drops without constantly refreshing the page manually? I am super pumped because I am finally remodeling my basement into a little gaming den and I need to snag a 75 inch TV and a soundbar. Walmart has those crazy Rollbacks but they come and go so fast its honestly stressful trying to catch them before they sell out or the price jumps back up.

Right now I am torn between using the Honey extension since it has that Droplist feature or just setting up a custom alert on Slickdeals for the specific model numbers I want. I also heard about some site called Keepa but I think thats just for Amazon? I am leaning toward Slickdeals because I can get a notification on my phone instantly but Honey feels more automated for the specific items in my cart.

My budget for the whole setup is about $1,200 and I really want to have everything ordered by the end of next month so it's ready for the start of football season. I am just worried Honey won't catch the price drop fast enough for those flash deals they do sometimes. Which one of these actually works best for Walmart specifically because I know their site is way different than Amazon's backend stuff...

I finally pulled the trigger on the R6 II last week and honestly I'm broke now lol. That body plus the glass really ate into my savings but I needed the upgrade for some freelance work I have coming up. I'm doing this multi-day music festival thing next month in Chicago and I'm stressing about the storage situation because my old UHS-I cards are basically paperweights for the 4K 60p stuff I want to do. I really want to lean into the C-Log 3 and 10-bit recording but the file sizes and bitrates are kinda intimidating for someone who used to just shoot 1080p.

Right now I'm stuck between a few choices. Option one is the ProGrade Digital V60 cards, the Gold series ones. I can get a 256GB for a decent price, which would be great for not having to swap cards every twenty minutes during a set. But then I see everyone saying V90 is the way to go for the R6 Mark II if you're doing any serious video. So option two is the SanDisk Extreme Pro V90, but man, the price jump is insane. For my $180-ish budget I can either get a massive V60 or a tiny 64GB or 128GB V90. I've also seen some people mention the Sabrent Rocket V90 cards being a bit cheaper but I've never used that brand before and I'm nervous about losing footage at a live event.

I've been reading the manual and it says for 4K 60p IPB you need a certain speed class but then people online say the buffer fills up fast if you dont go top tier. I'm mostly worried about the camera overheating or just stopping the recording in the middle of a song because the card couldnt keep up with the data stream. If I'm mostly sticking to the standard 4K 60p (not the RAW external stuff), can I actually get away with the V60 ProGrade or am I just asking for a headache later on?

My dad is paying for it as a graduation gift but he absolutely refuses to give me his credit card info or let me log into his Prime account because he's obsessed with cyber security or whatever. I was looking at two ways to do this but I'm torn. Should I just make a public Wish List and send him the link, or is there a way to literally just send him my active cart? I'm worried if I use a Wish List he'll buy the wrong sizes or forget the vacuum filters I need... is there a better way to do this without him having to manually add 15 items?

It is honestly such a mess right now and I am trying to get our small startup in Chicago organized before our big restock this Friday. I have got like 12 different tabs open and half the time I forget to buy the specific pens the designers want because their request got buried under 50 other emails.

I finally pulled the trigger on the R5 Mark II and I am so hyped to use it but honestly im already hitting a wall with my glass. Im trying to use my old EF lenses with the adapter and its just a total mess, the autofocus is hunting like crazy and the balance feels totally off and it just makes me want to scream because I spent all this money on a flagship body and it feels like im driving a ferrari with bicycle tires. I really need to move to native RF but there are so many options it makes my head spin.

My logic was that the RF 24-70mm f2.8 is the obvious choice for a workhorse but then I saw the 24-105mm f4 and its way cheaper and lighter for hiking, but then I worry about the low light performance since I do a lot of blue hour shots. I have a budget of around $2500 and I have a huge trip to the Dolomites coming up in October so I need to decide fast. Should I just go for the 24-70 or is there something better that covers more range without losing that crispness? Or maybe that 28-70 f2? No that thing is way too expensive and heavy...

I just want one lens that can handle the 45 megapixels without making the camera feel like a brick. What are you guys actually using on this thing for a daily driver?

What are the best tools for tracking eBay price drops right now because I am losing my mind trying to do this manually? I've been flipping vintage camera gear for like five years now so I usually have a good handle on the market but lately I've been running into this wall where I'm missing out on deals by literally minutes. I am getting my gear together for a big studio project in Chicago starting this March and I really need to find a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens for under $900 which is tough.

I tried some basic chrome extensions but they are so slow and honestly half of them dont even work on the mobile app view which is where I spend most of my time. I've messed around with:

WatchCount (UI is kinda ancient)

Basic price tracker extensions

Just refreshing my watched list (way too slow)

Is there something that sends a real-time notification to your phone or maybe a discord webhook or something more robust than just checking my watched items list every ten minutes? I've looked at stuff like FatFingered for typos but that's not exactly what I need here. I'm willing to drop maybe $10 or $15 a month on a sub if the API integration is actually fast enough to beat the other snipers out there. Let me know what you guys are using lately or if there is some hidden gem I haven't stumbled across yet...

So we finally closed on our first place in Austin after literally months of searching and it feels like my bank account is just bleeding money at this point. Between the closing costs and the movers its just a lot and now Im looking at our kitchen and realizing we basically have nothing that matches or even works properly lol. I really need to stock up on the basics like a new set of pots and pans, maybe a decent blender, and some of those fancy organizational bins that everyone on tiktok seems to have. Ive been looking into setting up a registry just for the completion discount because I heard thats the pro move for new homeowners but Im getting conflicting info online. Like I read on some blog that Amazon has a 15% completion discount if youre a prime member but then I saw a reddit thread saying it only applies to baby or wedding registries and if you try to make a housewarming one it doesnt actually trigger the coupon code at the end. Then there is Target which I know gives 15% but Im worried their selection for the higher end kitchen stuff like Le Creuset or whatever is gonna be super limited or they wont let the discount apply to the premium brands. We are hoping to get everything sorted in the next three weeks before the housewarming party were planning. Budget is kinda tight so every percentage point counts honestly. Is there a specific store that is known for being chill about letting you use the completion discount for general home stuff? I looked at Crate and Barrel too but their stuff is so pricey even with a discount it might still be over my head. Does anyone know which one actually has the most lenient rules for what the discount covers? I dont want to spend hours building a whole list just to find out the coupon doesnt work on the things I actually need...
