I tried setting up their built in alerts but the emails arrive way too late and the good deals are gone by the time I click through.

My logic was to find a Chrome extension to just ping me the second a price drops. I read about Distill Web Monitor but it seems kinda overkill and some people on Reddit said it can get your IP blocked if you refresh too fast. I also saw some random ones that havent been updated since 2021 so Im wary. Is there anything actually reliable for this specifically? I just want to snag a deal before the weekend starts...

Im torn between just setting up a simple Trello board with an approval workflow or paying for something like Sortly. Trello is basically free but I worry itll get ignored while Sortly looks more professional but might be too much for a team of 12. My budget is pretty tight like maybe $25 a month max and I need this running by next Monday. I am honestly so lost right now and I feel like I'm doing this all wrong so sorry if this is like a super basic question but I really need help. I have to find a 4K monitor for my new graphic design job starting next Monday and I'm specifically looking at the Dell U2723QE models. They are way over my $350 budget right now, mostly listed at $480 or more but I know people sometimes drop the price if it doesnt sell fast. I have been literally sitting at my desk in Portland just hitting the refresh button on my browser every twenty minutes and it is making me lose my mind. Is there a tool or a website that does this automatically? I tried looking at the eBay app but I cant find a track price button anywhere. I'm really stressed because I only have four days left to get this sorted before my first day and I dont want to overpay if I dont have to. Do I need to download something special or is there a trick to the eBay search filters that I am missing? I'm a total tech dummy when it comes to shopping sites...

Ive been shooting for about five years now mostly with an old 70D and decided to grab a T7 as a backup for a family reunion next month but none of my older Yongnuo units will trigger. Its super frustrating because I didnt even think to check for that before buying it. I need something reliable with TTL support but I dont want to spend a fortune on a high end Canon brand flash right now. Looking to keep it under 150 bucks if possible. Are the newer Godox models compatible with this weird crippled mount or am I stuck buying the expensive 430EX?

Ive been a VIB Rouge at Sephora for probably five years now and usually I just wait for the big seasonal sales to stock up on my staples but honestly the stock levels have been so bad lately. Im trying to get my hands on some specific stuff from Sisley-Paris and maybe the higher end Dior reformulated sets for my sisters 30th birthday next month and Im realizing my usual methods just arent cutting it anymore. Usually Id just use a browser extension or a basic price tracker but those seem to mostly scrape Amazon or big box sites which dont really carry the authentic high-end luxury lines or if they do the data is always out of sync.

The weird thing is Im starting to see these dynamic prices where the cost on the brand site actually changes if you come from a specific referral link or if youre logged into a certain rewards portal but my old trackers arent picking up on those secret sales or the GWP - gift with purchase - values which is really where the savings are at with these brands. I have a budget of about 700 dollars for this haul and I really want to maximize it because luxury skincare is getting insane with the price hikes this year. I tried setting up Google Alerts for specific keywords like Sisley discount or Dior beauty sale but I just get a ton of spam or those weird coupon aggregator sites that never actually have a working code.

Does anyone have a better system for this that actually works for luxury beauty specifically? Im looking for something that tracks the actual department stores like Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf instead of just the mass market retailers. Is there an app or maybe a specific community that pings these in real time? I keep missing the 24-hour flash sales because I dont check my promo email folder fast enough and it sucks. How are you guys actually staying on top of these luxury price drops without manually refreshing pages all day...

Ive been shooting on the Sony system for like six years now and honestly I thought I had the gear acquisition syndrome under control but man the itch is back. Im still rocking my old A7III which has been a total tank for me but I just booked this huge three-week project in Japan for late August and I really want to upgrade to the A7RV for that extra resolution and the autofocus which I hear is just insane. I know my way around the specs and Ive got a decent collection of glass already like the 24-70 GM II so Im not a newbie to the ecosystem but I have never actually tried to time a brand new purchase before.

Usually I just buy used gear off Fred Miranda or eBay when a good deal pops up but for this Japan trip I want a fresh body with a full warranty just in case something goes sideways overseas. Im sitting on a budget of about $3000 and Ive been refreshing B&H and Adorama like a crazy person every morning. The thing is prices seem to be bouncing around all over the place lately and I keep seeing these weird instant rebates that disappear after like 24 hours and it is driving me nuts. I feel like Im always five minutes too late to the party.

Is there a specific site or some kind of alert system that actually works for Sony gear? Ive used CamelCamelCamel for Amazon stuff obviously but it doesnt seem to catch the specialized photo retailers very well and they often have better bundles anyway. Im looking for something that tracks:

price drops across the major authorized dealers like B&H or Focus Camera

when those EDU discounts actually stack with seasonal sales

open-box alerts for the high-end bodies

some kind of history graph so I know if Im actually getting a deal or just a fake sale price

I really want to pull the trigger before the end of the month so I have time to test the new menus and setup my custom buttons before the flight. Does anyone have a go-to tracker that isnt just a generic price comparison tool?
